Thank you Meredith! I will take with me thoughts of our next jaunt to TJ Maxx, and a Girl’s Day — no rushing this time! I look forward to seeing you in June. XX
Thank you so much for your good wishes Dortha. I will miss you, and think of you often along the way, (as one intrepid pilgrim to another). Let’s have that long-delayed lunch when we get back, and compare notes and insights! Love, Alex
Love the first photo and pray that you both experience joy and love during this spiritual mission you have undertaken. Such an amazing world we live in for sure.
Thanks Anna! We had a pretty tough trip getting here — with 2 cancelled flights and a 6 hour layover in Frankfurt, and Olympic Airlines went broke, but Greece is wonderful anyway (if broke and depressed). It is all awesome and we feel so privileged to be here in this ancient, timeless place. XX
Wonderful that you made it!! Best wishes from Don and I for your journey.
Thanks Barbara. It’s cold and rainy in Athens, and bleak after the riots, but it’s amazing to be in this ancient country. Hugs to you both!

Happy Easter 2012, John and Alex. What a special time and place to be today. The map of your travels and John’s explanation of the route was most interesting. I’ve been thinking of you daily and am so glad to have this visual orientation. What a physical, spiritual and mind expanding journey you are having. With lots of love and good wishes for the rest of it…Judy
It’s Greek Palm Sunday today — a week off the Gregorian calendar this year. We went to a 3 hour (!) Orthodox service that was very moving. The families straggle in late, which seems to be just fine, if they can find seats. Love to all, Alex and John
