Dear Father Joe,
Thank you for the reminder that we not only owe what we have to our forebears, but we can also make amends for their mistakes. I see this attitude extending also to past treatment of the earth, and to our own personal and more recent complicity.
As a Unitarian Universalist, I appreciate your respect for other beliefs. While exploring religions just after college I often encountered a depiction of an unloving god, that I felt from Protestant services of my childhood. I fondly remember that Catholic services gave me positive messages with which to face the coming week, just as I find in these gentle videos of you.
