Hollyhocks are drought rsistant and have colourful blossoms for a long season then produce an abundance of seeds so there will more hollyhocks in the future. Another great thing is they are not bothered by insects or eaten by preditors.

I am enjoying your new vidio series KEEP DOING THEM THEY ARE GREAT!

    Gracias Juanita.

  3. Fr Joe says:

I learned so much from Jane’s comments. Serra had to endure lack of fresh water and he certainly seeded the furrows of California with his sweat, toil and ulcerous bloody bad leg! The Hollyhock; symbol of God’s Goodness AND BEAUTY IN THE MIDST OF GREAT ENDURANCE.

  4. Thom Griffith says:

What a blessing to see Fr. Joe and hear his words. He was such a blessing to me and so many others. God’s servant has gone home to rejoice with the Lord. HE should be blessed to see how many he has touched with his Love and sharing God’s spirit.

  5. Shelley says:

I have watched this video before, but never noticed how the Hollyhock pulls in toward Fr. Joe when he speaks about the goodness, wisdom, and power of God. He is so honored and loved by God and all of us and continues to help us on our journey toward heaven.
