What a spirit of cooperation he has!

I think that this is one of the best short meditation/spiritual pieces I’ve ever seen. Great work and thank you, guys.

“Amen” is my most immediate response to such simple eloquence by Fr. Joe. He is of what he speaks! May it rub off on all of us!

Thank you for sending this. Heartwarming really.

Father Joe now lives in the beauty born of the love of God. I will always remember his gentle nature. He was truly a man who reflected the love of God in our midst.

Thank you for your words of comfort, and for sharing your thoughts. I just read this:
“Grief and gratitude are kindred souls, each pointing to the beauty of what is transient and given to us by grace.“

This was warm and so beautifully done. Thank you for sharing this and I, too, look forward to your series on ‘Appreciating Beauty”. Thank you again. Anna

  11. Thanks Anna! (Just look under Beauty for all the videos we made on Transformed by Beauty ). We were deeply inspired and we learned so much from Fr. Joe; he was a saint and everyone who knew him, or of him will deeply feel his loss. May he rest in peace.

I remember a year before Fr. Joe passed away him having a conversation with me and reflecting such great wisdom about an Adoration Chapel that he loved. Although he was ill, he reflected such great quiet strength with his words and compassion. He was a light for so many in so many ways. He brought people to a higher level of holiness and a deeper appreciation of God’s beauty in the world. He never judged anyone and his laughter was music. I remember when he was happy at an event with his faith community how he would say, “Beautiful!”. We all need to keep our memories and the holy wisdom of Fr. Joe Scerbo alive. Let us stay on the path! We miss him!

Thank you for your note; it’s such a good reminder of all that Fr. Joe believed, and was. I know we all remember him and miss him still. Beautiful!
