Song of the Sacred Tree

The Song of the Sacred Tree, by Alexandra Dickerman, 2021
Certain special trees are considered to be sacred, in mythology and in many religions all over the world. Rooted in the earth, reaching skyward, nourished by the elements, and interconnecting with other trees through their complex root systems, trees provide a metaphor for patience and endurance.
I wrote this poem for you, with love.

That was simply beautiful both as a poem and breathtaking photography. Working with COVID patients for the past year, as well as healthy patients trying to protect themselves, I urge everyone to take the vaccine whenever it’s offered to you

Thanks David, for your kind words and for all you are doing to help; it’s been such a difficult time. Hopefully we will all be able to get the vaccine by sprig!

Thanks Liz. I wish I could see you! Did you get the vaccine? When we are all in the clear we’re going out to dinner!
